Quick tip: what are my measures dimensionalized by?

Hi all,

Here’s a quick tip from me! Often I wonder what my measures are dimensioned by:

Let’s use this example of a complex table of sales data:

A couple of ways you can use to 'investigate what the dimensionality of a measure like ‘Volume is’:

1. Right click on the ‘Volume’ measure and choose summarize and you will get a list of the dimensions by which it is dimensioned by.
   
   
2. Add the measure to a blank table by hitting the plus button onto a blank dashboard.
